BS/BA Degree, Childcare Certificate or Degree in Education, Administrative Training Certificate, 2 + years of experience, 9-hour Communication Training, clean criminal background check, pre-employment physical.

Preschool Teachers:

90 Hour Pre-School Certification, 1+ years of experience, 9-hour Communication Training, clean criminal background check, pre-employment physical.

School Age Teachers:

45 Hour School Age Certification, 1+ years of experience, 9-hour Communication Training, clean criminal background check, pre-employment physical.

Aides:

6 Hour Aide Training, 6 months of experience, 9-hour Communication Training, clean criminal background check, pre-employment physical.

Nutrition:

ServSafe Certification, 1+ years of experience, 9-hour Communication Training, clean criminal background check, pre-employment physical.

Transportation:

Clear driving record, 9-hour Communication Training, clean criminal background check, pre-employment physical.

Administrative Support:

2+ years of experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong customer service skills, 9-hour Communication Training, clean criminal background check, pre-employment physical.

Training Opportunities

Smart Steps is seeking MSDE-OCC approved trainers interested in offering on-site training at our 8000 square foot corporate facility. This site is available with classrooms and training aides. Trainers enjoy the benefits of a centrally located space (close to public bus routes, light rail and subway) without rental cost.
